Responsibilities
Job Description
- Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries and baked items for large number of customers.
- Hygienic handling of equipment and food stuff
- Ensure proper storage of all inputs in refrigerators and freezers.
- Assist to achieve overall business forecasted sales and profit targets.
Job Requirements
- Ability to use all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and so on
- Proper understanding of food safety practices
- Excellent time-management skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
- Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude
- Must be able to work in early morning shifts
- Certification from a culinary school is an added advantage
Experience and qualifications
- SSCE / NECO / OND / HND
- 2- 3 years’ experience as a Baker, Pastry Che for similar role
