Job Summary

• The ideal candidate will share the knowledge, tools, and techniques necessary for students to develop the technological literacy they need, using science and technology principles, to teach students problem-based learning skills through laboratory activities that involve technology.

Responsibilities

• Introducing the basic concepts of basic technology.
• Imparting a strong foundation to children that will help them in future.
• Depending upon the level of students, providing information about technologies.
• Attending seminars and conferences regarding development in the field of information technology in order to upgrade knowledge.
• Interacting with students on a personal level and understanding their learning capabilities.
• Preparing teaching schedules, course work, projects, homework and following the schedule in class.
• Meeting parents and guardians and discussing the child’s progress.
• Make lessons interesting for children.

Experience and qualifications

• BA / B.Sc in Education Basic Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years work experience in the same field.
• Experience teaching mixed ages is an added advantage.
• A thorough knowledge about concepts of basic technology.
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms.
• Excellent communication, motivationand teaching skills.
• Excellent analytical and observation skills.
• Ability to be friendly and compassionate with children.
• Ability to understand the problems of students and act as a problem solver.
