Bid and Tender Officer at Aut Energy Resources Limited – Port Harcourt, Rivers

Aut Energy Resources Limited is recruiting a Bid and Tender Officer in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The position supports competitive, timely and compliant bids for oil and gas service contracts, from monitoring new opportunities through document preparation, submission and post-bid analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor tender and procurement portals and identify opportunities relevant to the business.
• Examine invitations to tender and translate requirements into bid compliance checklists.
• Bring together technical, commercial, finance, HSE and legal contributions to proposals.
• Prepare expressions of interest, prequalification submissions and tender documentation.
• Manage bid schedules, document versions and milestones to achieve timely submission.
• Check proposals against client instructions, specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with commercial pricing, clarification requests, presentations and contract negotiation.
• Maintain bid libraries, credentials, standard templates and reporting records.
• Review tender outcomes and contribute to improvements in bidding practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline.
• At least five years’ relevant experience in bidding or tender management, preferably in oil and gas services.
• Knowledge of technical and commercial proposal processes and procurement rules.
• Strong written communication, proofreading, document management and research skills.
• Competence using Word, Excel and PowerPoint; ability to interpret tenders and handle competing deadlines.
• Familiarity with procurement platforms and industry compliance is an advantage.
• Attention to detail, analytical ability, teamwork and communication skills.
