Brand Photographer & Videographer at Misan & Co – Palmgrove, Lagos

Misan & Co is recruiting a Brand Photographer & Videographer for a full-time hybrid role based in Palmgrove, Lagos, to create imagery and video that reflect its hospitality experiences.

Photography and video production

• Photograph and film hospitality spaces, events, food, drinks, guest experiences and service details.
• Produce branded photography, promotional videos, interviews and behind-the-scenes content.
• Translate creative briefs into shot lists, prepare equipment and capture planned and spontaneous moments using suitable lighting, framing and audio.
• Produce vertical and horizontal assets for social channels, websites and advertising, and deliver agreed edits on time.

Editing, collaboration and asset management

• Edit photographs and assigned videos, maintain consistent image quality and visual style, and hand footage to the video editor when required.
• Work with founders, the Social Media Manager and operations team to cover important moments discreetly without disrupting guests.
• Respect privacy, guest comfort and consent arrangements during every shoot.
• Back up, label and organise files for reuse, protect equipment and report defects promptly.
• Contribute creative ideas that strengthen visual storytelling and campaigns.

Experience and working arrangement

• At least two years of relevant photography and videography experience, supported by a strong portfolio; hospitality, lifestyle or event work is preferred.
• Competence with cameras, lighting, sound recording and stabilisation equipment, photo-editing software and at least one professional video editor.
• Strong composition, storytelling, file management, communication and delivery under time pressure, including in changing light conditions.
• Friday office attendance is required, with other weekday shoots and weekend event coverage as scheduled.
• Standard office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., although event assignments may fall outside those hours.
• Assignments may take place at Misan & Co offices, venues or other designated shoot locations.
