Position Title: Business Development Officer.

Job Station: Lagos State.

INTRODUCTION:-

Business Development Officer job opportunity is available at Beckley Consulting Limited for individuals who possess relevant qualifications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-

This position exists to plan, develop, coordinate and implement strategies to:

  • Acquire new clients
  • Grow the company’s business with existing clients, and
  • Identify and evaluate relevant new business opportunities

Activities:

  • Develop and implement strategy to ensure sustainable rapport with existing and potential clients to increase sales and build loyalty
  • Research organizations and individuals to identify new sales leads and potential new clients
  • Plan and oversee new business initiatives and growth opportunities
  • Prepare bespoke proposals and quotes for potential clients using microsoft office tools
  • Prepare/update company brochure and other marketing materials for the company’s businesses
  • Create, build and develop a portfolio of clients and lead the sales strategy for the company.
  • Attend conferences, seminars, workshops and other networking events to establish contact with potential clients
  • Write periodical performance report of business development activities
  • Carry out any other assignment which may be assigned by management in pursuit of the company’s objectives.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:-

Qualifications / Experience

  • The candidate for this position should have a University Degree or its equivalent in any discipline.
  • 3 years experience in a similar position in a shipping, maritime, or oil and gas company will be an advantage.
  • A good communications skill and ability to work with a wide range of people from different backgrounds.
