Carpentry and Joinery Technician at Thyaura Partners – Abuja

Thyaura Partners Concept Limited is recruiting a full-time Carpentry and Joinery Technician in Abuja. The work involves building, installing, repairing and maintaining wooden furniture, doors, partitions and fixtures.

Carpentry and fabrication

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and install timber, plywood, MDF, laminates and other approved materials.
• Construct and maintain doors, frames, cabinets, cupboards, wardrobes, shelving, workstations and partitions.
• Prepare joints and wooden components, fit hinges and handles, and securely install fixtures.
• Read drawings, sketches and measurements for accurate fabrication and fitting.
• Inspect furniture and wooden structures for wear, loose joints, damage and maintenance needs.
• Repair, adjust or replace defective components and hardware, including doors, locks, handles and drawer slides.
• Carry out sanding, polishing, sealing, varnishing and other finishing tasks to specified standards.

Maintenance and safety

• Use saws, drills, sanders and other woodworking tools safely.
• Complete routine checks and preventive maintenance of wooden fittings.
• Respond to maintenance requests and finish assigned work within agreed timelines.
• Monitor and report material requirements, shortages and outstanding work.
• Maintain clean workshops, safe tools and accurate installation and repair records.
• Follow quality requirements, safety procedures and PPE instructions.

Remuneration

• Monthly salary of ₦300,000–₦400,000.
