Cost Accountant Vacancy at Svelte Global Company

Position Title: Cost Accountant.

Job Station: Lagos State.

INTRODUCTION :-

Cost Accountant job opportunity is available at Svelte Global Company for individuals who possess BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant numerate discipline.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :-

• Plan, study, and collect data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory consumption, production loss etc.
• Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost.
• Develop and maintain cost accounting system, documentation, procedures and processes
• Determine the costs and efficiency of company purchasing activities and business operations
• Interpret financial information regarding cost improvements for management
• Forecast and plan future purchasing costs according to fiscal needs

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION :-

Required Skills

• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with any ERP, especially Microsoft Dynamics NAV
• Computer literacy, Advanced MS Excel in particular
• In-depth understanding of IFRS

Required Qualification

• BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant numerate discipline
• Minimum of 3 years proven experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst or similar role
• Qualified Chartered Accountant is an advantage
