Director, IT Audit at Moniepoint Incorporated – Rivers State

Moniepoint Incorporated is recruiting a Director, IT Audit for its Internal Audit function. Reporting to the Chief Audit Officer, this leadership role will shape technology assurance, IT governance and cybersecurity risk oversight across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual, risk-based IT audit strategy aligned with company priorities and changing regulatory obligations.
• Lead audits of cloud infrastructure, networks, identity and access management, application controls, data privacy and business continuity.
• Assess controls against relevant frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT and SOC 2, alongside applicable privacy requirements.
• Build and mentor an effective team of technology auditors and specialists.
• Present major audit findings, risk assessments and remediation recommendations to senior executives and the Chief Audit Officer.
• Improve assurance through audit automation, data analytics and continuous controls monitoring.

Qualifications and experience

• At least 10 years in IT audit, technology risk management or cybersecurity, including four or more years in senior leadership.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or a related quantitative field.
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification is mandatory; CRISC, CISM, CISSP or CIA are desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Google and AWS cloud environments, databases, APIs, IT general controls and security infrastructure.
• Executive-level communication, stakeholder management and analytical leadership capabilities.
