Draughtsman at Dangote Group – Nigeria

Dangote Group is recruiting a Draughtsman in Nigeria to prepare and maintain technical engineering drawings for plant operations, maintenance, modifications and capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering drawings, equipment arrangements, fabrication details, layouts and schematics.
• Revise plant documents, record equipment modifications and produce accurate as-built drawings.
• Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, calculations and field measurements across mechanical, electrical, civil, structural and instrumentation disciplines.
• Maintain controlled drawing archives, revision registers and technical documentation.
• Support plant installations, shutdowns, maintenance and capital projects, checking compliance with engineering standards.

Requirements

• National Diploma in a relevant engineering, architecture or drafting discipline, or Trade Test Grades I–III in a related technical trade.
• At least three years of industrial drafting or technical drawing experience.
• Strong AutoCAD skills and knowledge of drawing symbols, scales, P&IDs, general arrangements and document control.
• Competence with site verification, field measurements, Microsoft Office and multidisciplinary design documentation.
• Autodesk, AutoCAD, drafting or document-control certification is an advantage.
