Drilling Operation’s Supervisor at Diamond New Energy – Nasarawa

Diamond New Energy, also known as Ganfeng Lithium Industry Limited, is recruiting a full-time Drilling Operation’s Supervisor to coordinate drilling teams and maintain efficient and safe drilling operations at Endo Village, Nasarawa LGA, Nasarawa State.

Drilling supervision and safety

• Supervise and coordinate teams of drilling operators.
• Plan daily drilling activities, assign duties and monitor team performance.
• Apply relevant drilling methods, equipment procedures and operational standards.
• Enforce drilling safety rules, identify workplace hazards, assess risks and prevent accidents.
• Inspect drilling equipment, recognise mechanical faults and report maintenance needs.
• Monitor drilling progress, document operational activity and prepare daily reports.
• Troubleshoot drilling problems and promote efficient use of equipment and materials.
• Support compliance with company policies and applicable mining requirements.

Experience and requirements

• Five to fifteen years’ experience in drilling operations, preferably in mining, quarrying or mineral exploration.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise drilling operators and manage teams.
• Strong practical knowledge of drilling equipment, drilling methods and daily work planning.
• Knowledge of drilling safety, hazard identification, risk assessment and accident prevention.
• Good communication, leadership, judgement and problem-solving skills.
• Physical fitness and willingness to work on-site in Endo Village, Nasarawa LGA, Nasarawa State.
• Experience with lithium mining or mineral exploration is an advantage.
