Electrical Engineer at Mikano International Limited – Ikeja, Lagos

Mikano International Limited is hiring a full-time Electrical Engineer in Ikeja, Lagos, to maintain and troubleshoot equipment used in electrical distribution and power generation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine, preventive and corrective maintenance on generators, alternators, transformers and switchgear.
• Diagnose equipment faults and monitor voltage, current, frequency, power factor and load distribution.
• Check transfer switches, synchronising equipment, protection relays and control systems.
• Perform electrical tests and support installation, commissioning and equipment checks.
• Develop maintenance schedules, record repairs and recommend corrective improvements.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineers to improve the reliability of generation equipment.
