Details
- We need a Field Electrical Engineer who will direct and oversee electrical engineering projects at construction sites and other fields, resolve technical issues and ensure that work is completed according to specifications.
- He/she will also be responsible for conducting tests and maintaining electrical systems, including final inspections prior to job completion.
- The preferred candidates should be able to balance project management and engineering tasks ranging from designing electrical plans to monitoring contractors.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-
- Design and maintain electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial or domestic purpose
- Conduct electrical progress work inspections on regular basis
- Ensure quality of, and compliance to parameters and codes preceding turnover to client establishment
- Manage clients and vendors in need of electrical installations and tests verifications
- Inspect permanent plant components and implement procedures to ensure project drawings and standards are attained
- Ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements by coordinating installation, maintenance, documentation, support and testing activities
- Supervise teams of younger technicians
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:-
- First degree in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years cognate experience in managing electrical engineering projects
- Advanced project management skills
- Must possess relevant certifications and professional engineering license
- Proficient in the use of design and calculation software
