Geophysics Specialist – Level 3 at Kimeric Nigeria Limited – Nigeria

Kimeric Nigeria Limited seeks a Level 3 Geophysics Specialist in Nigeria to contribute to seismic acquisition, interpretation and subsurface analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support two-dimensional and three-dimensional seismic surveys, wellbore acquisition programmes and associated technical planning.
• Work with operating teams, specialist colleagues and vendors to develop seismic acquisition solutions.
• Carry out pre-stack and post-stack seismic inversion, amplitude-versus-offset analysis and seismic attribute interpretation.
• Interpret structural features, depositional settings, facies, gravity and magnetic information.
• Apply knowledge of carbonate reservoirs, unconventional plays and seismic processing to project work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a geotechnical or geophysical discipline and relevant related experience.
• Strong geological, geophysical and petrophysical interpretation, including siliciclastic settings.
• Competence with geological computing applications, including Petrel.
• Sound understanding of petroleum and structural geology and different reservoir settings.
• Effective teamwork, coaching and mentoring abilities.
