Housekeeper at Misan & Co – Palmgrove, Lagos

Misan & Co is recruiting a full-time, on-site Housekeeper in Palmgrove, Lagos, to maintain its spaces and prepare them before, during and after private gatherings.

Daily cleaning and presentation

• Clean and sanitise floors, restrooms, mirrors, windows, furniture and guest-facing surfaces using suitable cleaning products.
• Keep guest areas, offices, storage spaces and entrances orderly, and ensure toilets remain clean and well stocked.
• Empty bins, replace liners, remove waste and inspect easily overlooked surfaces and upholstery.
• Complete daily cleaning checklists and scheduled deep-cleaning assignments.

Event preparation and room resets

• Prepare rooms, furniture and guest facilities to the manager’s approved layout before bookings.
• Maintain restrooms and remove waste discreetly during events; respond to spills or cleaning requests without disrupting guests.
• Clean and reset rooms after each gathering, and coordinate priorities with management when bookings are close together.

Property care, safety and teamwork

• Handle furniture, décor and equipment carefully, requesting assistance with heavy or delicate items.
• Report damage, hazards, faults, leaks and stains promptly; use and store cleaning products and tools safely.
• Monitor supplies and toiletries, request timely replenishment, care for equipment and hand lost property to the manager.
• Respect guest privacy and property, communicate clearly during handovers and assist with housekeeping and preparation across Misan & Co locations.

Requirements

• One year of housekeeping or cleaning experience; hotel, restaurant or hospitality experience is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, good time management and the ability to follow instructions and simple checklists.
• Honesty, punctuality, reliability and courteous guest interaction.
• Ability to perform physical housekeeping duties safely, including standing, bending and moving cleaning equipment.
• Willingness to work scheduled weekends and event shifts.
