HR Assistant at Avatar New Energy Materials Co. Limited – Nasarawa

Avatar New Energy Materials Co. Limited is recruiting a full-time HR Assistant in Nasarawa State to support recruitment, onboarding, staff administration and employee welfare in its mining and industrial operations.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment, including vacancy advertisements, CV screening, interview scheduling and onboarding.
• Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files and HR databases.
• Assist with staff orientation, attendance, leave records and basic payroll documentation.
• Respond to employee enquiries and refer complex matters to appropriate team members.
• Help implement personnel policies, company rules and HR procedures.
• Coordinate staff training, meetings and other internal activities.
• Support employee welfare activities and maintain disciplinary documentation.
• Handle sensitive personnel data confidentially and provide general HR and administrative support.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Relations or a related discipline.
• One to two years’ experience is an advantage rather than a compulsory minimum.
• Basic understanding of HR procedures and Nigerian labour law.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong writing, communication and record-keeping skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, discretion and team spirit.
• Willingness to work in a mining or industrial site environment.
