HR Officer at Swift Consulting – Ogba, Lagos

Swift Consulting is recruiting a full-time HR Officer in Ogba, Lagos. The position supports recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, staff development, policy implementation and compliance with Nigerian labour requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment activities from candidate selection through onboarding.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and established people-management practices.
• Maintain confidential employee records, HR databases and documentation.
• Organise staff training, learning programmes and employee development activities.
• Coordinate performance reviews, appraisals and development planning.
• Resolve or advise on employee relations matters and provide guidance to management and staff.
• Support compliance with labour laws, internal policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Assist with payroll, benefits administration, attendance, leave management and disciplinary records.
• Prepare HR reports and workforce analytics and support employee engagement and organisational culture.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology or a related field.
• At least three years of proven experience in human resources; experience in a bank, lending business or other financial institution is preferred.
• CIPM or a relevant HR professional certification is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Nigerian labour regulations and HR good practice.
• Strong employee relations, recruitment, performance management and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and human resource software.
• Professional communication, confidentiality, organisation, sound judgement and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
