HSE Manager (Contract) at M-P Infrastructure – Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

M-P Infrastructure is recruiting an HSE Manager on a contract basis in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, to oversee health, safety, environmental and social management systems across infrastructure operations.

Safety and environmental management

• Develop, implement and monitor HSE and environmental-social management programmes.
• Conduct risk assessments, site audits and workplace safety inspections.
• Lead incident investigations, corrective actions and reporting.
• Monitor applicable regulatory compliance and relevant ISO standards.
• Deliver employee safety training and promote HSE awareness.
• Support sustainability, ESG and emergency preparedness initiatives.

Requirements and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety or a relevant discipline.
• At least five years of relevant HSE experience and sound knowledge of construction or infrastructure operations.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is mandatory.
• Membership of the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (ISPON) is mandatory or strongly preferred, as stated for the position.
• ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 auditor credentials, IOSH membership and specialist incident investigation, risk assessment, first aid, fire safety or ESG training are advantages.
• The ideal candidate has seven or more years of HSE experience across construction, engineering or infrastructure.
