- Human Resource manager will be responsible for ensuring that the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of human resources plans and programs are realized. Therefore, their essential job responsibilities include:
- Developing and administering human resources plans and procedures that relate to company personnel
- Planning, organizing, and controlling the activities and actions of the HR department
- Contributing to the development of HR department goals, objectives, and systems
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :-
- Develop and implement HR strategies with initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring and controlling the administrative activities or decisions made within the organization
- Manage the recruitment and selection process
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
- Conducting annual salary surveys
- Developing, analyzing, and updating the company’s salary budget
- Developing, analyzing and updating the company’s evaluation program
- Developing, revising, and recommending personnel policies and procedures
- Performing benefits administration
- Overseeing recruitment efforts for all personnel, including writing and placing job ads
- Conducting new employee orientations and employee relations counseling
- Overseeing exit interviews
- Maintaining department records and reports
- Participating in administrative staff meetings
- Maintaining company directory and other organizational charts
- Recommending new policies, approaches, and procedures
- Nurture a positive work environment
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management practices
- Design, implement and monitor adherence to HR policies of recruitment, training and development, employee relation, rewards management and human resource information system
- Implementing and revising the company’s compensation program
- Creating and revising job descriptions
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION :-
- B.Sc. in Human resource, Business Administration or relevant field is required
- Masters in relevant field is an added advantage
- Certified qualification(CIPM) or equivalent is preferred
- Candidate must have minimum of 3 years proven experience in similar role
- Relevant experience in senior management role
- Competence in building and effectively managing relationships at all levels of the company
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR practices
- Experience in performance evaluation and change management
- Ability to manage multiple teams at the same time
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Understanding of regulatory compliance requirement and safety rules and regulation
- Outstanding leadership and organizational skill
- Excellent communication, negotiation and problem solving skills
REMUNERATION :-
NGN200,000 – 300,000 / Month
