Responsibilities
- Work closely with design, product management, and development teams to create elegant, usable, responsive and interactive interfaces across multiple devices
- An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and bring in optimal flow for rapidly changing design/ technology
- Use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages
- Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
- Write functional requirement documents and guides
- Create quality mock-ups and prototypes
- Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
- Interact with project stakeholders for requirements gathering and ongoing project management
- Deliver on projects according to pre-agreed timelines
- Participate in execution and documentation of tests
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
Experience and qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or any related field
- 1-2 years work experience in Software Development, fresh graduates may apply if they demonstrate strong software development potential
- A good understanding of the FINTECH Industry
- Proven work experience as a Front-end developer
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including CSS & HTML5
- Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
- Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS etc. is an added advantage
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / Mercurial / SVN.
