Life Reporting Officer Vacancy at AXA Mansard Insurance Plc – Lagos
Role overview
The Life Reporting Officer supports accurate management accounts, regulatory compliance and financial reporting for the life insurance business in Lagos.
Responsibilities
- Prepare life insurance revenue accounts and AXA Mansard Funds accounts.
- Monitor investment securities and investment income across the relevant entities.
- Prepare required periodic returns for SEC, NSE and NAICOM.
- Review life business ledgers and claims recovery balances, correct discrepancies and present weekly review reports.
- Contribute to expense budgeting, operating expense reviews and annual financial statement audits.
- Translate foreign-currency balances and placements into naira for the life business.
- Administer ledgers and accounting periods and support the assessment and implementation of accounting standards.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a business- or finance-related course.
- Membership of a relevant professional body.
- One to three years of professional experience in a related position.
Employment conditions
Full-time position in Lagos.
