About the role
Lifting Equipment Inspector job opportunity is available at an Indigenous Engineering and Inspection Services Provider for individuals who possess OND or HND in an Engineering discipline.
Responsibilities
- Perform bi-annual and annual inspection and tests on cranes and lifting tackles as required
- Investigate problems relating to cranes and other lifting equipment
- Prepare lifting plans and supervise lifting operations as required
Experience and qualifications
- Possess OND or HND in an Engineering discipline with certificate of competence in crane inspection from the Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity
- Possession of LEEA diploma is an added advantage
- Must be familiar with relevant lifting equipment standards and regulations
- Must have extensive knowledge of planning and accessing lifting operation
- Should have good communication skills
