Role overview
Genesis Group is recruiting a Logistics and Facility Manager for oil-drilling-related operations in Port Harcourt. The role combines transport, supplier, building maintenance and safety coordination.
Responsibilities
- Oversee fleet maintenance, dispatch timetables, delivery routes and freight efficiency.
- Work with logistics vendors, assess service performance and comply with transport and safety rules.
- Coordinate upkeep of buildings and essential mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
- Schedule preventive servicing, respond to urgent repairs and oversee external facility contractors.
- Manage workplace health and safety, space planning and utility costs.
Qualifications and skills
- The role describes a typical background in supply chain management, business administration or engineering, with relevant professional experience.
- Working knowledge of ERP and inventory software, compliance, budgeting and cross-functional leadership.
