Male Locum Nurse at In-Country Medicare – Abuja

In-Country Medicare Limited is recruiting a part-time Male Locum Nurse in Abuja. The position involves patient assessments, prescribed treatments, clinical documentation and infection prevention while working with the wider healthcare team.

Nursing responsibilities

• Provide safe, respectful and patient-centred nursing care under applicable clinical standards.
• Assess patients and document clinical findings accurately.
• Administer prescribed medicines and treatments.
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
• Assist with clinical procedures and emergency response as necessary.
• Keep accurate nursing notes and handover records.
• Work effectively with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
• Respect patient privacy, confidentiality, professional ethics and dignity.

Eligibility and experience

• Male registered nurse with a Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc) or equivalent qualification.
• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
• A valid and current practising licence is mandatory.
• Two to three years of clinical nursing experience.
• Residence within the Galadimawa or Apo axis of Abuja.
• Good judgement, communication, interpersonal skills and adaptability in clinical environments.
