About the role

The Marketing Manager will lead the marketing strategy and execution for Knorr and the wider Foods portfolio in Nigeria. The role reports to the Foods & Future Core Lead and connects brand development, consumer insight, commercial objectives and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver brand strategies and marketing plans that support growth, household penetration and relevance in the Nigerian market.
• Lead integrated marketing campaigns, consumer activations and digital- and social-first engagement programmes.
• Coordinate content, influencer, paid-media, retail and experiential activity with agency and internal partners.
• Support product innovation and local go-to-market execution alongside customer development, research and development, finance and commercial teams.
• Manage marketing expenditure, analyse campaign effectiveness and return on investment, and adjust plans using consumer and performance data.
• Lead collaborators and agency relationships, aligning stakeholders on execution and commercial priorities.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related subject.
• At least seven years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in fast-moving consumer goods.
• Substantial experience in brand strategy, demand creation and integrated marketing.
• Digital marketing skills spanning social media, creator partnerships, content, search optimisation and paid media.
• Commercial and analytical ability, including budgets, campaign measurement and consumer insights.
• Proven leadership, stakeholder management, communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with e-commerce or direct-to-consumer marketing is an advantage.
