Experience and qualifications
- A first degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design from a reputable institution.
- A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of three (3) Years’ Experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of 3D Modeling & 2D CAD applications: Inventor, SolidWorks and Fusion36O.
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering and industrial design standards and principles.
- The ideal candidate must be able to design products with an innovative approach to design.
- Knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication will be an advantage.
- Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment with an emphasis on teamwork, communication and customer satisfaction.
