Production Planning and Inventory Control (PPIC) Officer job opportunity is available at S. Lloyd Nigeria Limited for individuals who possess relevant qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Make production plan base on Customer order requirement / forecast
- Create purchase order based on Production Plan.
- Check invoice from suppliers before submitting to finance department
- Inform forecast to supplier based on data from PPIC
- Make delivery schedule for suppliers after duly considering to level stock stock and production schedule
- Monitor actual delivery vs plan delivery from suppliers
- Monitor actual delivery vs plan delivery to Customer
- Hold account consolidation meetings with suppliers for any issues to be resolved.
- Liaises with suppliers, factories, human resources department, and maintenance employees to ensure all workers, materials, and machinery will be available when required.
- Organizes and maintain records, including purchase orders
- Monitors production and raw material costs
- Collects and assesses data about the production and team’s performance
- Prepares reports about production processes for upper management and suggests ways to improve efficiency
Experience and qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with a work experience of at least 6 – 8 years of related experience or equivalent experience in Production Planning or Business Analysis of 4 plus years required.
- Preferred backgrounds: Production Planning, Business Analysis, Project Management, in Food manufacturing industry
- Computer Literate; Microsoft Excel experience required
- Experience with inventory management software such as SAP and Discoverer preferred
- Good Oral and written communication skills
- Good understanding of manufacturing and business operations
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of Supply Chain and Distribution Management
- Ability to Meet Deadlines.
