Role overview
The Programs Officer coordinates the administrative, operational and programme delivery activities of AXA Mansard’s NHIA and public sector operations in Lagos.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate NHIA capitation and fee-for-service payments to healthcare facilities.
- Manage CEMONC claims, reimbursement paperwork, portal submissions and claims reconciliation.
- Support onboarding, training and contract administration for participating healthcare providers.
- Supervise liaison staff and claims verifiers, monitor service delivery and escalate capacity concerns.
- Prepare weekly programme reports, maintain regulatory records and track submission deadlines.
- Organise stakeholder activities and contribute to the design, evaluation and reporting of public health programmes.
- Coordinate staff scheduling, retraining, documentation and programme milestones.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Public Health, Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience in public health programme management.
- Experience in health insurance operations or HMO administration is an advantage.
Employment conditions
