A bakery ingredients company is recruiting a full-time Sales Executive (Fine Bakery) in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, through Ascentech Services Limited. The role involves selling bakery products, customer acquisition and field sales.

Job Summary

• We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Field Sales Executive to promote and sell bakery-related products to businesses. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new customers, conducting field visits, building strong business relationships, and driving sales among restaurants, coffee shops, hotels, caterers, and other businesses involved in baking or catering.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential customers, including restaurants, hotels, coffee shops, caterers, and institutional catering businesses.
• Promote and sell bakery ingredients, baking supplies, and related products to new and existing customers.
• Conduct regular field visits to generate leads, secure orders, and expand the customer base.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to business growth.
• Follow up on customer enquiries, orders, and payments where necessary.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
• Prepare regular reports on sales activities, customer visits, and business opportunities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in field sales, preferably selling bakery ingredients, baking supplies, food products, or related FMCG products.
• Proven ability to generate leads, acquire new customers, and close sales.
• Experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales and customer relationship management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, conduct regular field visits, and meet sales targets.
• Knowledge of the bakery, hospitality, food service, or catering industry is an advantage.

• The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience selling products similar to those used in baking, with the ability to identify business opportunities, build customer relationships, and convert prospects into regular customers.
