Scheduler at Dangote Group – Nigeria

Dangote Group is recruiting a Maintenance Scheduler to coordinate preventive, predictive, corrective and shutdown maintenance plans across industrial operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and shutdown maintenance schedules based on work orders, equipment needs and available resources.
• Coordinate maintenance plans with operations, engineering, warehouse teams, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Track work-order execution, identify delays and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Arrange required staff, tools, spare parts and contractor support for planned activities.
• Maintain schedules, backlogs, equipment history and performance measures in a computerised maintenance management system.
• Support major overhauls and shutdown campaigns and analyse downtime, schedule adherence and resource use for improvement.

Requirements

• HND in a relevant engineering, maintenance or operations discipline, or ND with demonstrated maintenance planning and scheduling experience.
• At least five years’ industrial experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, shutdown support or related maintenance coordination.
• Working understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance, work orders and industrial equipment.
• Proficiency in SAP PM, Maximo or comparable CMMS platforms and Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong scheduling, analytical, reporting, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant maintenance scheduling, SAP PM, CMMS, project management or HSE certificates are added advantages.
