Supply Chain Manager Vacancy at Bell Oil and Gas Limited

About the role

This role leads the sourcing, procurement and delivery of materials and equipment required for oilfield projects and customers, reporting to the General Manager, Supply Chain and Business Development.

Responsibilities

• Set and implement supply-chain strategies aligned with business and project needs.
• Oversee procurement from requests for quotation and evaluation through supplier negotiations, purchase orders and contract administration.
• Maintain relationships with original equipment manufacturers, mills, distributors, suppliers, transporters and clearing agents.
• Manage international sourcing, imports, customs clearance and local transport to achieve planned delivery, cost and quality.
• Coordinate oil country tubular goods (OCTG), line-pipe procurement, inventory and associated supplier records.
• Control supply-chain risks, regulatory and Nigerian local-content compliance, quality processes and supporting documentation.
• Support major tenders and project teams, evaluate supplier performance and manage the supply-chain workforce.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics or a related discipline.
• At least ten years of continuous supply-chain or procurement experience, including five years in a leadership position in upstream oilfield services.
• Experience in international procurement, Nigerian port clearance, oilfield materials and project logistics.
• Knowledge of supplier negotiation, contracts, RFQs, inventory, trucking logistics and customs procedures.
• A master’s degree or MBA, or professional certification such as CIPS, CPSM or APICS, is desirable.
