YellowDoor Hotels is recruiting a full-time Waiter / Waitress for The Living Room restaurant and bar in Abuja. The on-site role delivers attentive guest service, menu guidance and coordination with the restaurant team.

Guest service responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and manage their experience from arrival to farewell.
• Explain menu dishes, ingredients and pairings, and recommend suitable options based on each guest’s preferences.
• Anticipate customer needs and respond attentively, warmly and discreetly.
• Handle questions, resolve service mistakes promptly and help maintain guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other team members to deliver reliable, consistent service that encourages return visits.

Requirements

• At least two years’ experience in upscale dining or hotel service; the position specifies a two- to four-year experience range.
• Strong knowledge of the complete restaurant service sequence.
• Ability to understand the menu, explain dishes and confidently recommend choices.
• Warm, clear and attentive guest communication.
• Ability to show positive guest outcomes from previous service work.
• Availability for rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
