Accountant at an Undisclosed Company via Kiyix Recruitment Hub – Ebute-Meta, Lagos
An undisclosed employer in pharmaceutical retail is recruiting an Accountant in Ebute-Meta, Lagos. The role covers financial reporting, transaction reconciliation, payroll support and accounting controls.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting transactions.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly financial reports.
- Monitor sales revenue, expenses, cash flow and bank transactions.
- Reconcile daily sales, POS transactions and cash collections.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare payroll schedules and assist with statutory deductions.
- Ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.
- Monitor financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and financial regulations.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience in pharmacy, retail or FMCG accounting will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity and attention to detail.
