Branch Accountant (10 Openings) at Sundry Markets Limited – Multiple Locations
Sundry Markets Limited is recruiting ten full-time Branch Accountants across Marketsquare locations in Abuja, Rivers, Lagos, Imo, Edo, Anambra, Delta, Ondo and Ogun.
Responsibilities
- Issue daily cashier floats, secure cash receipts and arrange timely bank deposits.
- Reconcile till balances and POS activity; investigate discrepancies and customer transaction disputes.
- Check invoices before posting and record branch revenue and journal entries accurately in ERP systems.
- Prepare shortage and stock-transfer reports and perform bank reconciliations.
- Maintain branch financial controls, accurate accounting documentation and compliance with company policies.
Requirements
- BSc or HND in Accountancy or a related discipline; NYSC discharge, exemption or exclusion document.
- At least four years’ accounting or cash-management experience.
- Knowledge of reconciliation and internal controls; ERP experience is an advantage.
- ICAN certification is an advantage; numerical accuracy, problem-solving and communication skills are required.
