Job Description
- We are seeking a passionate, self-driven, natural-born salesperson. We are looking for a dynamic sales representative with prior proven outside sales experience; representative must have prior relationships to be able to hit the road running and selling.
Responsibilities
- We are actively seeking a passionate and entrepreneur-spirited Advertising Sales Executive.
- This individual will oversee ad sales for direct advertisers and Ad Agencies throughout the Western/ Eastern and Southern Africa region, focusing on South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
- We are looking for a self-starter who has demonstrated success in dealing with ambiguity, operating in a high-growth environment, and solving problems with limited oversight. Our inside sales representatives sell online advertising packages to businesses of all sizes.
- This is a work from home sales role. However, some time is spent in the field on behalf of the clients in a very fast-paced, business-to-business sales environment.
Experience and qualifications
- Highly motivated / Self-motivated person who really wants to make a mark in the ad industry
- 2-5 years of experience leading some or all of the sales process in a media/advertising company or ads driven tech company.
- Candidate must have excellent communications skills and be a ‘people person.
- Candidate must have the comfort level to make cold calls and solicitations.
- Candidate is expected to generate NEW business opportunities.
- Experience in selling online advertising inventory to brands, networks and/or agencies.
- Extensive experience in a work from home environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Deliver results and meet deadlines.
- Close deals!
