Job Summary
- The Animal Feeds and Nutrition Specialist is to formulate feeds for Animals on the farm while ensuring the Animal nutrition follows best practice.
Responsibilities
- Handle Animal Feed Production
- Formulating Feed Formulas according to best practice
- Develop substitute ingredients where necessary
- Assessing nutritional value of feeds
- Provide dietary advice
Experience and qualifications
Prospective employees must have:
- A minimum of a B.Sc Degree in Animal Nutrition or any relevant degree
- 3- 5 years’ related work experience
- Experience in formulating Chicken, Fish and Pig feed, is an added advantage
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Calm, polite, and professional behavior.
- Reliable and self-motivated.
