Position Title: Assistant Legal Adviser.
Job Station: Lagos State.
INTRODUCTION:-
Assistant Legal Adviser job opportunity is available at a Gaming Company for individuals who possess relevant qualifications.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-
- Attending to law suits, case management and liaising with external lawyers.
- Preparing court processes and defending the company’s cases in court.
- Preparing agreements between the company and other parties.
- Reviewing agreements between the company and its various service providers.
- Attending to petitions and complaints emanating from customers/punters through themselves, lawyers, and regulators like the LSLB, NLRC and other State regulators.
- Responding to EFCC and police information requests that relate to fraud and other criminal activities perpetrated through our platform.
- Attending EFCC invitations as they relate to the business.
- Management of super agents and agents and convening disciplinary panels for them when necessary.
- Reviewing of governance codes as it is applicable to the company.
- Attending to post-incorporation documents for the company ;
- Performing any other function as may be assigned to him from time to time.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:-
- LLB Law qualification
- Minimum 5 year post bar legal experience
- Experience of working in a legal practice
- Working knowledge of legislation surrounding sporting betting and lottery in Nigeria will be an added advantage
- Experienced and familiar with making Court/legal appearances
- Excellent Computer Skills
- Excellent Communication and written Skills
- Ability to multitask.
