Associate Counsel at an Undisclosed Commercial Law Firm via R2HIRE – Ikoyi

R2HIRE Talent Solutions is recruiting a full-time Associate Counsel for an undisclosed commercial law firm in Ikoyi, Lagos. The role suits a proactive lawyer with two to five years of post-call experience, strong commercial judgement, sound legal drafting and comfort using technology in legal practice.

Legal practice responsibilities and skills

• Research legal issues and prepare clear, accurate legal documents and opinions.
• Support corporate and commercial law matters, regulatory compliance and general client advisory.
• Apply sound legal analysis, commercial awareness and professional judgement.
• Use Microsoft Office, AI-assisted tools and digital legal workflows effectively.
• Work within standard operating procedures and structured professional processes.
• Manage responsibilities independently with reliable communication, organisation and close attention to detail.

Requirements and preferences

• Two to five years of post-call legal experience.
• Strong legal drafting, research, written and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant exposure to corporate/commercial law, regulatory work and legal advisory.
• Technological proficiency and readiness to work in a fast-paced law practice.
• Candidates living around Lagos Island, Victoria Island, Ikoyi, Lekki, Oniru or nearby areas will be given preference.
• Ability to drive, a valid licence and access to a vehicle are added advantages.

Remuneration

₦250,000–₦600,000 per month.
