Job Description
- We are presently looking for an energetic, result-driven real estate business development/marketing executives-interns.
- You will be tasked with growing our customer base by generating leads, counselling clients on market conditions, developing competitive market prices and sealing deals.
- To succeed in this role, you will need industry knowledge/experience and understand of the dynamics of the market.
- This placement provides you with the opportunity to design and develop a comprehensive marketing portfolio while gaining an understanding of the inner workings of one of Nigeria’s foremost commercial real estate firms.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Generate client leads to buy, sell, and rent a property.
- Act as an intermediary in negotiations between buyers and sellers, generally representing one or the other.
- Negotiate prices or other sales terms.
- Counsel clients on market conditions, prices, and mortgages.
- Create lists for real estate sale properties, with information location, features, square footage, etc.
- Interview clients to determine what kinds of properties they are seeking.
- Gather customer or product information to determine customer needs.
- Show properties to potential buyers and renters.
- Accompany buyers during visits to and inspections of the property, advising them on the suitability and value of the homes they are visiting.
- Present purchase offers to sellers.
- Facilitate negotiations between buyers and sellers.
- Review purchase contracts to ensure terms are met.
- Promote properties sales with ads, listings, and open houses.
- Prepare and distribute marketing materials including maps, aerials, flyers, submarket updates, market analyses, etc.
- Create new marketing material, including presentations and other pitch material for presentations.
- Prepare loyalty contracts, purchase agreements, rental agreements, deeds, and other documents for each real estate transaction.
- Determine clients’ needs and financial abilities to propose solutions that suit them
- Intermediate negotiation processes, consult clients on market conditions, prices, mortgages, legal requirements and related matters, ensuring a fair and honest dealing.
- Prepare necessary paperwork (contracts, leases, deeds, closing statements etc)
- Maintain and update listings of available properties.
- Remain knowledgeable about real estate markets and best practices.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:-
- Bachelor of Science, HND in Business Development/Real Estate or related field.
- Previous working experience as a Real Estate Agent or Real Estate Salesperson will be handy.
- Proven track of successful sales record.
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, EXCEL, Word and Outlook).
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite 5 required, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Adobe Acrobat X Pro will be an added advantage.
- Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail-oriented.
- Strong sales, negotiation and communication skills.
- Pleasant and trustworthy.
