Chartered Accountant job opportunity is available at a Reputable Agro-allied Organization for individuals who possess relevant qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Reconciling bank statements and ensuring timely bank payments.
• Preparing budget forecasts and managing all accounting transactions.
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
• Manage balance sheets and profit / loss statements
• Audit financial transactions, documents and procedures
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
• Ensures compliance with financial policies and regulations.
• Ensures adequate controls are installed and that substantiating documentation is approved and available such that all purchases may pass independent audits, etc.

Experience and qualifications

• B.Sc / HND qualification in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
• Minimum of five (5) years work experience as an Accountant.
• Hands-on experience with Quick Books or any other accounting software
• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills .
• Experience with general ledger functions and strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
• Good knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the generally accepted Accounting Principles.
• Candidates living around Yaba, Oyigbo, Ojuelegba, Apapa, Kiriliri, Ajegunle, Ebutte – Metta, Surulere, Ijora axis will have an advantage
