Position Title: Chief Accountany / Financial Controller.

Job Station: Rivers State.

INTRODUCTION :-

Chief Accountany / Financial Controller job opportunity is available at Sprint Consulting-Port Harcourt for individuals who possess Degree in any Management Science / Social Science related discipline preferably in Accounting, Economics / Finance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :-

• Maintain a robust Internal Control Framework to ensure that revenue and assets of the Company are adequately protected.
• Ensure that an appropriate financial accounting system that produces accurate and reliable financial information is in place to guide management and Board of Directors in decision-making.
• Establish comprehensive operational guidelines / workflows and a robust accounting manual.
• Ensure production of accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial performance reports and management accounts.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION :-

• A minimum of first Degree in any Management Science / Social Science related discipline preferably in Accounting, Economics / Finance.
• Minimum of 15 years work experience with a minimum of 5years work experience in a chief accountant/Financial controller position.
• Professional qualification- A minimum of ACA/ACCA is compulsory while other qualifications such as ACTI, CFA will be added advantage.
• Must be very conversant with robust accounting software such as SAGE.
• The suitable candidate must have significant capacity, hands-on experience, and relevant track record to effectively oversee a dynamic accounts department that delivers reliable accounting / financial reports in a timely manner.
