Civil / Building Maintenance Technician at Thyaura Partners Concept Limited – Abuja

Thyaura Partners Concept Limited is recruiting a Civil / Building Maintenance Technician in Abuja to inspect, maintain and repair building structures, finishes and associated civil works.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of buildings, structures, and associated facilities.
• Repair cracks, damaged walls, ceilings, floors, tiles, doors, windows, and other building components.
• Perform minor masonry, plastering, painting, tiling, carpentry, and general building repair works.
• Identify structural defects, water seepage, dampness, leaks, and other building maintenance issues, and report major concerns to the supervisor.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure buildings remain safe, functional, and presentable.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complaints from occupants, clients, and facility users.
• Inspect roofs, drainage channels, walkways, fences, and other external building structures, and carry out necessary repairs.
• Assist with renovation, refurbishment, and minor construction projects as assigned.
• Measure work areas, estimate material requirements, and prepare requests for building maintenance materials and supplies.
• Ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain records of inspections, repairs, materials used, and outstanding maintenance issues.
• Coordinate with plumbers, electricians, ELV technicians, contractors, and other maintenance personnel when carrying out building repairs.
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed to acceptable quality standards and within agreed timelines.
• Observe health and safety procedures, use appropriate personal protective equipment, and maintain safe work areas.
• Ensure work areas are cleaned and restored after maintenance activities.
• Report major defects, recurring building problems, and repairs requiring specialist attention to the supervisor.
• Perform other civil, building, and general maintenance duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Salary

N300,000 – N400,000 monthly.
