Position Title: Computer and Communications Engineer.
Job Station: Nigeria.
INTRODUCTION :-
Computer and Communications Engineer job opportunity is available at a Multilateral Institution Funded Project for individuals who possess Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :-
The successful Consultant will be required to:
- Under the supervision of the Lead ICT Systems Specialist and in coordination with the PIU, manage all computer infrastructure, networks, data centres, hardware, etc.;
- Ensure that all available or acquired networks and hardware are fit-for purpose, reliable, well-maintained, etc.;
- Coordinate with vendors and system suppliers and supervise their work to ensure full acquisition of knowledge;
- Train administrators and users on the use and administration of their infrastructure and hardware in delivery institution in each of the geo-political zones;
- Manage data centres security and data privacy;
- Generate reports on a periodic basis and on demand
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION :-
The short-listing criteria are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering; Graduate degree in the same field is an advantage;
- Perfect command of the English Language;
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal coaching/mentoring, and computer skills;
- At least 7 years of general professional experience;
- At least 5years of specific experience in specifying, implementing or managing ICT infrastructure, networks, data centres and hardware.
