Derrickman at an Undisclosed E&P Company – Offshore Nigeria
An oil exploration and production company is recruiting a Derrickman for its offshore drilling team in Nigeria. The position supports safe and effective vessel operations.
Key responsibilities
- Handle tubular goods while working on the derrick.
- Assist with the operation and maintenance of drilling-fluid pumping and mixing systems.
Requirements
- Relevant offshore drilling experience appropriate to the role.
- Current industry certifications relevant to the position.
- Commitment to safety, teamwork and operational excellence, including active promotion of Shelf Drilling Core Values.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural offshore setting.
- A valid passport and willingness to travel.
