Internal Control Manager (Oil & Gas) at Isaacworthub LLC – Nigeria

Isaacworthub LLC is recruiting an Internal Control Manager for an oil-and-gas-focused position in Nigeria. The role strengthens governance, internal controls, financial compliance and risk management across corporate and operational activities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and assess financial and operational internal controls.
• Identify risks in joint-venture accounting, procurement, supply chains, inventory and major-project capital spending.
• Monitor statutory, contractual, IFRS and relevant environmental compliance obligations.
• Lead internal control reviews, support external auditors and monitor corrective actions.
• Present risk findings and practical governance recommendations to executive management and the Audit Committee.

Requirements

• Five to eight years of experience in internal control, audit or risk management specifically within oil and gas.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline and professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIA or CISA.
• Knowledge of COSO, SOX, oil and gas financial reporting and sector-specific compliance obligations.
• Analytical judgement, leadership, stakeholder management, communication and ability to prevent fraud or waste.
