Digital Marketing & Social Media Specialist at Awa Lawa Limited – Lekki, Lagos State

Awa Lawa Limited is recruiting a full-time, primarily on-site Digital Marketing & Social Media Specialist in Lekki, Lagos, reporting to the CEO. The role manages social platforms, paid advertising, creative campaigns and performance reporting for the company’s gaming-related brands.

Responsibilities

• Manage distinct brand accounts across Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, WhatsApp Channels and Telegram.
• Prepare weekly social calendars with announcements, reminders, promotions, polls and short videos.
• Respond to audience messages and refer payment or service problems to customer support.
• Plan and optimise paid campaigns across permitted platforms, managing advertising permissions and account standing.
• Manage budgets and track cost per sign-up, first-deposit acquisition and advertising returns.
• Run SMS, email, WhatsApp, influencer, referral and affiliate campaigns.
• Work on search optimisation and web copy with developers.
• Coordinate creatives, graphics, video production and advertising copy.
• Apply adult-only and responsible-gaming messages, licensing and advertising rules; avoid targeting minors or promising wins.
• Produce weekly and monthly campaign, conversion, audience and compliance reports.

Requirements

• Degree or certificate in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• Hands-on experience managing Meta, X and TikTok paid advertising and budgets.
• Strong written English and familiarity with Nigerian digital trends, including Pidgin.
• Ability to produce quick content with Canva, CapCut or similar tools.
• Confidence with analytics, conversion measures and campaign reporting.
• Understanding of gaming-advertising restrictions or ability to learn them quickly.
• Four or more years’ experience in Nigerian social media and paid campaigns is preferred, not required.
• Experience in betting, gaming, fintech, consumer apps, influencers, affiliate marketing, GA4 and Meta Pixel is advantageous.
