Diving Superintendent Vacancy at Miden Systems Limited

Position Title: Diving Superintendent.

Job Station: Nigeria.

INTRODUCTION :-

Diving Superintendent job opportunity is available at Miden Systems Limited for individuals who possess relevant qualifications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :-

• Processing voyage instructions and monitoring voyage proceeds as per Charter Party requirements.
• Appointing vessels agents for following-up requirements related to the execution of the C/P. Advising Ship Masters of C/P terms.
• Following-up voyage execution and vessel performance at sea and in port.
• Collecting and processing voyage documents, managing quotations for bunkers and arranging fuelling and waterinq of vessels.
• Processing cargo and demurrage claims.
• Co-operating with the Technical Department regarding vessels requirements in relation to performance, maintenance and operational improvements.
• Supervising all vessels’ commercial operations in port and enroot; ensuring efficient and safe use of the equipment and compliance of the vessel with her commercial obligations.
• Monitoring and processing prompt delivery of vessels’ provisions and decks stores
• Organising the supply and distribution of adequate resources and shore-based in case of an emergency.
• Issuing and updating letters and instructions regarding operations, ports information and other similar matters

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION :-

• Professional, Technical, University degree
• A valid Ship Master’s or Chief Engineer’s license, recognized by State and National Authorities.
• A well-established and proven track record of in a related field and discipline
• Current & valid BOSIET certificate (from OPITO approved center)
• Current & Valid H2S certificate
• 8 years’ experience in the diving industry offshore with 2 years of experience in the roles of diver and 2 years of experience in offshore air supervisor and offshore air superintendent
• Must be familiar with diving machinery and systems Basic knowledge of operation of DP (Dynamic Positioning) systems, construction barges and DSV (Dive  Support Vessel)
• Experience in J-Tube installation, Riser clamp installation, Risers installation, sleepers’ installation, Pipe laying activities, Stinger check, Jacket installation, on board construction barges OR DP vessels
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Not less than 12 years of work experience
