Fleet Officer at Max Drive – Lagos
Max Drive is recruiting a Fleet Officer in Lagos to coordinate vehicle maintenance, refurbishment, inspections and fleet asset security within an assigned area.
Responsibilities
- Test vehicles before and after maintenance to determine required repairs and confirm their completion.
- Monitor spare-parts usage and authorised workshop performance against company standards.
- Work with the maintenance manager to improve routine servicing and vehicle checklists.
- Assess vehicles before refurbishment, inspect parts and verify refurbishment quality.
- Guide and train technicians in maintenance practices.
- Ensure job cards are completed for vehicles received for servicing and refurbishment.
Requirements
- At least an OND in an engineering discipline; Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- Two years’ experience as a vehicle technician or in fleet management.
- Knowledge of inventory control and fleet maintenance practices.
- Competence in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, analytical thinking and accurate recordkeeping.
- Strong communication skills, confidentiality and attention to detail.
