Head of Projects (Construction) via Elizabeth Maddeux – Ikeja, Lagos

Elizabeth Maddeux is recruiting a full-time Head of Projects (Construction) in Ikeja, Lagos. This senior leadership position has responsibility for construction and infrastructure project delivery, costs, quality, schedules, profitability and compliance.

Leadership and delivery

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across the construction division.
• Direct construction projects and programmes against agreed budgets, deadlines and quality measures.
• Oversee commercial controls, quantity surveying, procurement, contracts and negotiations.
• Manage delivery involving government and institutional clients.
• Strengthen quality assurance, health and safety, compliance, team leadership and decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• An MBA or relevant master’s degree is a strong advantage.
• Professional credentials such as PMP, NIQS or COREN are highly valued.
• At least ten years of industry experience, including three to four years in senior leadership.
• A record of managing large, multi-billion-naira projects and government or institutional construction work.
• Experience with competitive tendering, bidding, multidisciplinary project teams, contract negotiation and executive stakeholder management.

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of ₦800,000–₦1,000,000.
