Head of Secondary School at Ratio Consulting Limited – Lokogoma, Abuja

Ratio Consulting Limited is recruiting a Head of Secondary School in Lokogoma, Abuja to oversee academic standards, classroom instruction, examination preparation and the welfare of secondary school learners.

Academic leadership

• Direct curriculum planning, classroom teaching quality and academic achievement across the secondary school.
• Supervise teachers and Heads of Department through classroom observation, coaching and performance feedback.
• Monitor assessment data and student progress; develop interventions and academic improvement programmes.
• Coordinate preparation for WAEC, NECO, JAMB UTME, IGCSE and other relevant examinations.
• Support teacher development, academic meetings and accurate examination and curriculum records.
• Promote student welfare, discipline, safeguarding and effective communication with parents.
• Submit performance reports and recommendations to school management; report to the Head of School.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area; postgraduate study in Education or Leadership is an advantage.
• Current Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) registration.
• At least five years’ teaching experience, including two years in academic leadership.
• Practical experience preparing learners for WAEC, NECO, JAMB UTME or IGCSE examinations.
• IGCSE training, competition coaching and familiarity with Cambridge or British Council assessment are advantages.
• Ability to analyse academic data and apply safeguarding and child-protection procedures.
• Strong communication, confidentiality, team leadership, coaching and planning abilities.
