Internal Audit Officer at Garki Hospital Abuja – Abuja

Garki Hospital Abuja is recruiting an Internal Audit Officer to assist with financial checks, internal controls and compliance in its healthcare operations.

Responsibilities

• Support periodic internal audits and reviews of financial and operational activities.
• Verify supporting documents for vouchers, transactions and accounting records.
• Test internal control effectiveness and identify risks, weaknesses and avoidable losses.
• Prepare audit working papers, draft findings and follow up outstanding corrective actions.
• Review compliance with healthcare requirements, relevant tax rules and internal policies.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in accounting, banking and finance, economics or a related discipline.
• At least two years’ experience in audit, accounts or finance operations specifically within the healthcare sector.
• Understanding of accounting, financial statements and audit methodologies.
• Strong ethics, analysis, accuracy, Excel and accounting software skills.
• Familiarity with healthcare billing, claims and inventory workflows is an advantage.

Remuneration
